About
The PV Academy is a global platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in photovoltaics (PV).
It brings together researchers, professionals, and students to explore the latest developments in solar PV through high-quality educational content and meaningful networking opportunities.
Our Vision:
To foster knowledge transfer that drives innovation in PV science and technology.
Our Mission:
To provide high-quality, accessible PV education to researchers, students, and industry professionals around the world.
Collaboration
The PV Academy takes place within the framework of the EU PVSEC, the world’s leading conference for photovoltaic research and industry. This integration ensures that the Academy’s content reflects the latest scientific and technological developments in the PV sector.
Each year, the PV Academy also partners with local universities and research institutions in the host country to incorporate regional expertise and perspectives. These collaborations enrich the programme with diverse insights and foster knowledge exchange between international participants and local PV communities. In previous editions, the PV Academy has successfully collaborated with renowned institutions such as Vienna University of Technology, the University of Lisbon, and the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan.
This year, we are working closely with the Technical University of Madrid and the University of the Basque Country, to bring forward their specialised knowledge and research excellence in solar energy.
What to expect
- The PV Academy features multiple sessions covering a wide range of topics in photovoltaics, presented by renowned experts from the photovoltaic research and industry community.
- On-site lectures take place within the framework of the EU PVSEC and are also made accessible online.
